Day 1: Arrival in Paro
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative from Imperial Lotus Tours and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, visit the National Museum of Bhutan, located in a former watchtower that offers stunning views of the Paro Valley. You will also visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery that dates back to the 16th century. Overnight in Paro.
Day 2: Trek to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
After breakfast, drive to the base of Taktsang Monastery, also known as the “Tiger’s Nest.” The monastery is perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley and is one of the most famous landmarks in Bhutan. Later in the day, you will visit the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight in Paro.
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. You will visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of Bhutan’s third king. Later in the day, you will visit the Folk Heritage Museum, which showcases the traditional way of life in Bhutan. You will also visit Tashichho Dzong, the main government building in Bhutan and the summer residence of the Je Khenpo, the head of the Bhutanese Buddhist clergy. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 4: Departure
